Grand Prairie is a part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Getting in and around GP is easy. Interstate highways 20 and 30 stretches from east to west through the northern as well as southern portions of GP. The Pioneer Parkway or Texas State Highways Spur 303 and Main Street or Highway 180 also serves the northern and central parts of the city. Grand Prairie is served in the northern and southern parts by east-west running Interstate highways 20 and 30 as well as Texas State Highways Spur 303 and 180.
